Building trusted digital foundations. Turning data and AI into business advantage.

I work at the intersection of enterprise technology, data, analytics and artificial intelligence — helping organisations simplify complexity, build stronger digital foundations and turn technology investment into measurable business capability.

What I Lead

Technology should simplify the organisation, strengthen decisions and create room for growth.

01

Technology Strategy & Enterprise Architecture

Shaping technology roadmaps, architecture principles, platforms and operating models that align technology investment with business priorities.

02

Data Strategy & Architecture

Designing governed enterprise data foundations that bring together architecture, integration, quality, ownership and trusted business semantics.

03

Analytics & Decision Intelligence

Transforming fragmented reporting into scalable analytics ecosystems that provide consistent KPIs, executive visibility and self-service decision support.

04

Artificial Intelligence

Applying generative AI, conversational analytics, machine learning and intelligent automation to practical enterprise challenges — grounded in trusted data, security and governance.

05

Enterprise Platforms & Transformation

Leading modernisation across cloud, enterprise applications, integration, business platforms and complex technology environments.

06

Governance, Risk & Security

Embedding data governance, information security, privacy, access control and technology risk management into the design of enterprise capabilities.

The Intelligent Enterprise

AI becomes valuable when it can be trusted.

The most useful enterprise AI is not disconnected from the organisation around it. It understands trusted corporate information, respects security boundaries, operates within governance controls and helps people make better decisions.

My current work and interests include conversational business intelligence, enterprise copilots, AI-assisted document analysis, natural-language data exploration, KPI interpretation, machine learning, AutoML and decision-support capabilities built on governed enterprise data.

The objective is simple: make organisational intelligence easier to access without compromising the foundations that make it reliable.

Selected Impact

Transformation is ultimately measured by what changes.

From fragmented reporting to enterprise performance visibility

Led the rationalisation of a fragmented reporting landscape spanning multiple business functions, standalone dashboards, duplicated extracts and inconsistent KPI definitions. The resulting executive framework consolidated more than 40 dashboards, reduced reporting cycle time by over 90% and created consistent performance visibility across multiple businesses.

Building a trusted enterprise data foundation

Established scalable data and analytics capabilities designed around common definitions, governed information, reusable models and enterprise-wide accessibility. The emphasis was not simply on moving data, but on establishing the architecture, ownership and trust required for reliable organisational decision-making.

From dashboards to conversational decision intelligence

Developing AI-assisted capabilities that allow business users to explore trusted enterprise information conversationally, understand KPIs and obtain decision support without requiring SQL or specialist technical knowledge.

Modernising complex enterprise platforms

Led and contributed to transformation across enterprise applications, integration, cloud platforms, analytics environments and business-critical technology capabilities, with a consistent focus on reducing fragmentation and improving interoperability.

Advisory & Consulting

Complex technology decisions benefit from an independent perspective.

I work with organisations and leadership teams facing technology, data and AI decisions where the challenge is not simply choosing another tool — but determining what should be built, simplified, governed or transformed.

Technology & Digital Strategy

Clarifying technology priorities, investment direction, architecture choices and transformation roadmaps.

Data & AI Strategy

Establishing the data foundations, governance and operating models required for analytics and AI at enterprise scale.

Architecture & Platform Modernisation

Reviewing fragmented technology landscapes and defining pragmatic paths toward simpler, scalable and better-integrated architectures.

Analytics & Decision Intelligence

Designing executive KPI frameworks, modern BI capabilities, semantic architectures and conversational decision-support solutions.

AI Readiness & Enterprise Adoption

Evaluating where generative AI and intelligent automation can create meaningful value while addressing security, data, governance and adoption.

Transformation Advisory

Providing an independent technology perspective for major programmes, architecture decisions, platform selections and transformation initiatives.

Leadership Philosophy

How I think about technology.

Simplicity is an architectural advantage.

Technology estates naturally become complex. Good architecture should reduce that complexity rather than institutionalise it.

Trusted data comes before intelligent systems.

AI can amplify what an organisation knows — but also what it gets wrong. Governance, quality and business semantics remain foundational.

Transformation is a business programme.

Technology transformation succeeds when operating models, processes, people and technology move together.

Architecture should enable change.

The best technology decisions are not merely correct for today. They create options for what the organisation needs next.

Experience

Breadth built through enterprise transformation.

Over more than fourteen years, my career has progressed from hands-on technology and systems work into leadership responsibilities spanning enterprise IT, data, analytics, architecture, applications, cybersecurity, governance and digital transformation.

Today, much of my work sits at the convergence of those disciplines: building the platforms, governance and intelligence capabilities required for organisations to operate effectively in an increasingly data- and AI-driven environment.

That breadth is central to how I approach technology leadership — understanding individual platforms deeply enough to make sound decisions while remaining focused on the wider enterprise.

Perspective

Ideas I am exploring.

Perspective

Enterprise AI Starts With Trusted Data

Why organisations pursuing generative AI should pay as much attention to data architecture, semantics and governance as they do to the model itself.

Simplify Before You Modernise

Cloud migration and new platforms do not automatically remove legacy complexity. Often the highest-value decision is identifying what no longer needs to exist.
